One Layer!

I rarely combine challenges...but today is different ;)
I made a one layer card for little tangles
and I was inspired by the amazing Donna M. over The CASE Study again....

Of course, I am immensely inspired by the Bokeh effect that we see everywhere. I am also linking this up to the new One Layer Simplicity Challenge (formerly known as One Layer Wonder). Wow, three challenges in one layer!

I pulled out my favorite color combo and Neat And Tangles Stamps set (Party Dots).
Here it is!
 hello beautiful
LOTS of patience went into this the making of this one layer. I had to start over a few times due to the following reasons: poor inking, embossing gone bad, smudges...etc.
Ding: when you add shades of colors (distress inks, in this case), it is helpful to use a piece of clean scrap paper underneath your working hand (to avoid accidental smudging). And always dab a bit of ink on scrap paper to test it out before inking (to avoid heavy imprints). Layer the colors as much as possible.
Thanks for stopping by!
