Reverse Stamping!

Just sharing a card that I made a while ago and it didn't get posted. I am entering this card for the LOVE challenge over Moxie Fab World (details here).
Mr. & Mrs.
Have you tried reverse stamping? This was the result for using that technique. Here is a video from the talented Laurel B. and you can get an idea as to how I did it!  Due to the size of the bird, I had to find a large piece of solid clear stamp to do the reverse stamping.

If you look closely, you can tell the red one is the reversed image.  I think I got lucky for lining up their beaks almost perfectly (Yay for that)! It's not as easy since it's a wooden stamp.

Supplies: Stamp (Hero Arts) Newsprint Bird , sentiment (Mr. & Mrs.) by SRM Stickers (Love), Pattern paper is from Basic Grey (Out of Print), gemstones (Michael's)

The reverse stamping is also one creative way to stretch your stamps.
I'll be back tomorrow with "How I Stretch My Stamps--Series 4"!

Love it! My goodness, I need to play "catch up" on the series! You would think that with it being summer and I am off work that I would keep up better! ;0)

That is a perfect way to stretch that stamp! What a darling card with those two love birds. Great job with that technique and I love the little heart and torn paper detail at the bottom.

Loving all of your great ideas! I just got a large rubber background stamp specifically for reverse stamping, which I think is super-fun. Love these birdies! Great fun.

I had no idea what you meant by reverse stamping until I watched the video. I thought you meant you stamped onto the stamp... or something. (I'm on VERY little sleep right now.) I really love the effect of the reverse text though :)

BUT that video was incredible, so thanks for sharing :)
