What is Dr. John Thinking?

With all the talk about trendy shapes, Dr. John told me that he is thinking of launching some crafting products when he retires. Here are some products that he DREAMS to be selling like hot cakes!

~Dr. John Relax Inks (why be distressed?...)
~Hand-Torn Pentagon Diecut (aka Chrysler hood ornament)
~Wishy-Washy Tape (can't decide on its purpose yet)

Watch out, Tim Holtz, you've got competition!

While Dr. John is thinking...., I have two "Thinking of You" cards to share. These are two cards that I made a while ago for publication. Sadly they were not picked. BUT they sure are perfect for the Hero Arts June challenge ( with Thinking of You theme, details here ).
 23. you make me feel right at home
Same stamp ( Newspaper Skyline), different take.
24. Missing You...
So what do you think? I will be back tomorrow with another rendition of his and her cards (using the same element/supply)!

I must say I look forward to these "What is Dr. John thinking?" features. It's clear he's a deep thinker and quite witty too. I'll be looking for those Relax inks...can't wait to hear the names for the colors (chill pill blue? no worries green?) Great cards, V...loving the fun skylines and the creative way you added your sentiments.

Dr. John is too much! Seriously! But I think he might ought to consider some creative packaging when he develops his product line... His "Relax Inks" should come with some scented candles -- like aromatherapy... His Wishy-washy Tape should come with a "Magic 8-Ball"... (remember those?!?) And his Pentagon Diecut needs to come with a pair of tweezers -- to help the buyer escape from the handcuffs/jail cell they're sure to land themselves in!!! :)

Either way, this was a delightful post, Virginia! And your cards are great, too! They almost look like another take on the masculine/feminine thing! :)

I think that Dr. John is onto something...I will take some relaxing inks, please! Maybe he could mix some lavender and chamomile into the inks and they could have an aromatherapy effect? Just my two cents, Dr. John!
Your cards are fabulous, like always Ms. Virginia! :)

As long as his idea of relaxing doesn't include "Code Blue Blue" and "Anesthesia Orange"! These skyline scenes are so creative. The one colored building is very effective!

I got a good laugh out of Dr. John's future craft tool career. The cards are such a neat idea. Sending one to a college student away from home came to my mind right away.

Yes, Dr. John should definitely set up shop as a crafting genius when he retires. And wishy-washy tape? Can survive going through the washing machine, obviously. :D
Fun cards today -- love the single coloured-and-popped buildings!

I want to be on Dr. J's design team! Love his ideas for relaxed inks - they should be aroma therapy with zen aromas. What fun you 2 have! Love these cards (I would have published them!), especially the second one with the cool tag.
