Moxie Fabbers of the Week!

Have you heard?
Oh me oh my, today is the little feature of me as the Moxie Fabber of the week over Moxie Fab world.
(Somebody, pinch me!)

I am absolutely honored to be asked by Cath for this interview style feature. It is a dream come true to be recognized by the most prestigious on-line paper crafting blog. As a card-maker, I admit, to be featured as a Moxie Fabber was on my "bucket list"! And now I can add a check mark on it! Please go and check it out here.

If you follow my blog regularly, you pretty much know quite a bit about me. The questions in the Moxie Fab interview are excellent as they really make me take a retrospective look of my card-making journey.
For this very special occasion, I am sharing my very first on line stamped card when I join the Hero Arts Flickr Group. I thought I knew how to stamp (gasp!!). I know....this card is very primitive and that is exactly the reason why I am sharing with you. I remember how excited I was to be able to take part in the on line challenge. I had no/few Hero Arts stamp back then. The text sentiment was copied from Encarta Dictionary to paper and then pasted directly to my card. The only stamped images were the bird and holly. The design and technique were very raw and simple, but my passion for card-making still shows through.
That was November 2008.
 FIRST HA challenge
This is my latest published card in Card Creations (Vol 10). P. 135 by Paper Craft

PEACE be with you - Copy
It is my sincere hope that my creative journey has inspired you somehow, whether you are new or very experienced in card-making/blogging. I have been enjoying the creative journey and where it has taken me in the last few years. We all want to have a great result, achievement or recognition, but in the end, I think I have to remind myself that the process is even more precious. With a thankful heart, I feel so privileged to share this thought with you today.

To thank you, I have this set called believing butterfly that I'd love to give away. If you can tell me what part of the interview makes you smile or what you like about visiting me in this blog...or just about anything, I love to hear from you!!  Please comment in this post by midnight Eastern time, June 15. I've said it before and I will say it again: "You make me want to be a better card-maker/stamper/ blogger!!"

I can honestly say to myself:
Yes, Virginia.....you have come a long way!

So since I've only been doing this card/blog thing for a year or so, I only know 2011 and after Virginia Lu, and I really love her. (Not to mention, my parents came over from Taiwan and that's my maiden name. Mine is the 'road' version of Lu). Anyway, all this to say I'm kind of shocked that you haven't already been the Moxie Fabber!!! You totally fit the bill and I come here because I love to see how you are experimenting with products/techniques and because I love your fun cards and stories too.

Tuesday mornings are my favorite Moxie Fab email day because of Cath's interviews with the Moxie Fabber of the week. Always something new to learn. That's what I liked most about your answers. The self learning. My experience in card making and entering challenges is what I learn about myself. For example clean and simple cards or less is more is always a lesson about my experience with scarcity, like there's not enough,or like somethings missing. This is when I say it's time to meditate, slow down, be in the moment. Thanks for the chance to win, yet I have enough...just nice getting to know you. Be well Carole
