Today's card was prompted by CREATE Blog. The challenge is calling for "Vintage Flowers". I had some rough idea what they are like. Nevertheless, I Googled and did a Pinterest search to get inspired...here is the result.
I took the inspiration from the Basic Grey Paper and just went from there...the yellow flower is from this cling stamp called
Large Flower Background. The yellow ribbons are from May Arts. Delicious, huh? This card reminds me of the song called "Tie A Yellow Ribbon"
Believe it or not, it was the first English song I learned. I was in Grade 7 and that song was so catchy... Somehow I learned how to sing the words without actually know what it means. Oh... .those young and innocent days!

Hi Virginia! I have no clue what vintage flowers are either! :> Love this card that paper is absolutely perfect for the flower, so love the yellow! Oh and I have no idea what song that is! You know what song was in my head for says as a child "This is the song that never ends it goes on and on my friends some people started singing it not knowing what it was and they'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that never ends........ Do you know that one?
